About Me
I’m Dr Frederike Mueller, a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist (PYL040272) with over a decade of experience working in the NHS and the charity sector. I provide online therapy across the UK, supporting adults who are struggling with anxiety, stress, and related challenges.

My practice is trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming, with interventions tailored to the individual needs of each client. I work with people experiencing:

-
Anxiety (generalised anxiety, constant worry/overthinking, social anxiety, health anxiety, panic, phobias, performance stress)
-
Stress and overwhelm linked to work, parenting, and relationships
-
Emotion regulation difficulties, such as managing anger, frustration, or heightened stress responses

I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing on evidence-based methods including:
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
-
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
-
Narrative Therapy
-
Systemic Therapy

This flexibility allows me to design sessions that meet the unique needs of each client.

I have a particular interest in supporting parents, drawing on my experience of working with both parents and children in NHS and charity settings.

I am also bilingual, offering therapy in both English and German. Having trained and practised in the UK throughout my career, I work fluently in English while supporting German-speaking clients who prefer therapy in their mother tongue.
Alongside professional training, I bring warmth, curiosity, and compassion to my work. I believe therapy is a collaborative process where we work together to understand your experiences and build strategies that support your wellbeing.
