ABOUT

About Me

As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, I am passionate about helping children, young people, and families overcome challenges and thrive. With over a decade of experience in the NHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and paediatric psychology) and the charity sector, I bring extensive expertise to supporting children, young people, and their families.

I provide support for a wide range of emotional, social, and behavioural challenges, including:

  • Anxiety (e.g., social anxiety, health anxiety, panic, school-related anxiety)

  • Difficulties with emotion regulation (e.g., stress, anger, frustration)

  • Low mood

  • Relationship and friendship issues

  • Significant life events such as loss or separation

  • Early years challenges (e.g., attachment, managing fussy eating, or habits like hair-pulling)

  • Adjusting to parenthood

  • Misophonia

  • Tinnitus and hyperacusis

My approach is creative, flexible, and collaborative, underpinned by evidence-based therapeutic interventions designed to help children, young people and families to understand the challenges they face and build lasting solutions. My practice is trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming, with interventions carefully tailored to meet individual needs.

I am trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Systemic Therapy, and attachment-based parenting interventions. This integrative training allows me to design sessions that suit the unique needs of each client.

I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and am accredited by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC, PYL040272). My academic journey includes an MSc in Psychology (Conversion Course), an MSc in Social Policy, and a BA in Governance and Public Policy, reflecting a strong foundation in both psychology and social systems.
